Pick-up and delivery
Renting gear from Getarctic is easy and flexible. You can pick up your gear 24/7 via self-service, collect it from Rovaniemi city center, order delivery to your accommodation, or have it shipped to a pickup point of your choice anywhere in Finland.
1. Self-service pickup 24/7 – Ulakatu 5, Rovaniemi
Our self-service pickup room is available 24/7. Your reserved gear will be waiting for you, pre-packed in a locked locker.
We will send detailed pickup instructions and access codes via message no later than one hour before your rental period begins.
2. Pickup from Rovaniemi city center – Hostel Café Koti
You can also pick up your gear from the reception of Hostel Café Koti in Rovaniemi city center during their opening hours.
This option is especially convenient for those staying in the city center or traveling without a car.
You can place a "city center pickup" order by 2:00 PM the day before your rental starts.
We will deliver your order to the reception, where you can collect it by showing your ID (if the person picking up the order is different from the person who placed it, please let us know in the additional information field).
Before finalizing your order at checkout, please write in the additional information field: Nouto Hostel Cafe Koti.
3. Delivery to accommodation
Would you like your rental gear delivered directly to your hotel, cottage, or other accommodation? Easily order delivery in our online store.
Add the product “Delivery, Rovaniemi within 10 km radius” to your shopping cart.
If your accommodation is located more than 10 km from Rovaniemi, add one delivery product for every started 10 km.
Example of delivery quantities:
- 0–10 km: 1 delivery product
- 11–20 km: 2 delivery products
- 21–30 km: 3 delivery products
Delivery applies to one way only. If you also want the gear to be picked up from your accommodation when the rental ends, double the number of delivery products in your cart.
Add your accommodation address or hotel name in the additional information field at checkout.
4. Shipping to a chosen pickup point – throughout Finland
You can have rented equipment or purchased products shipped to a pickup point of your choice anywhere in Finland.
Shipping of rental products
We send rental equipment so that it is ready for pickup before your rental period starts. You only pay for the time you have the gear in your possession – not for the transit time.
Select the moment you wish to pick up the gear from the parcel point as the rental start time, and the moment you return it to the parcel point as the end time.
Please note that shipping must be ordered at least 5 business days before the rental period begins.
How to order shipping:
- Add the appropriate shipping product to your shopping cart in the online store.
- Small package (e.g., backpack, bindings, sleeping pad) maximum dimensions are 40cm x 40cm x 50cm, maximum weight 3kg.
- Large package (e.g., splitboard, skis, or pulk) maximum dimensions are 190 × 40 × 40 cm and maximum weight 15 kg.
- If you also want a return shipment, add the shipping product to your cart twice.
- Write your desired delivery address in the Additional information field of the order.
If you also order a return shipment, we will include a return shipping label with the gear. Attach it to the package and take the gear to a parcel point before the rental period ends.
Shipping of retail products
You can also order products you have purchased to be delivered to a pickup point of your choice.
- Add the appropriate shipping product for your items to the cart.
- Small package maximum dimensions are 40cm x 40cm x 50cm, maximum weight 3kg.
- Large package maximum dimensions are 190 × 40 × 40 cm and maximum weight 15 kg.
- Write your desired delivery address in the Additional information field of the order. We will ship the order to the nearest courier service point.
